Millions are missing the opportunity for huge savings on their energy bills
by failing to take very simple steps to save money!
Consumer Focus and Energy UK are urging customers to try to reduce their
bills by better insulating their homes and by double checking that they are on the correct tariff or payment method. Government figure show millions of homes do not have adequate loft insulation or cavity wall insulation. Many energy suppliers offer free or even discounted loft and cavity wall insulation, which can offer savings to consumers an average of £120 on their bill each year. Also, by switching payment plans to direct debit could save customers a further £100 each year.
